I am pleased to assist constituents in requesting U.S. flags flown over the U.S. Capitol building. Flags can be requested to fly over the U.S. Capitol Building Monday - Friday. Each flag is boxed and includes a certificate with your personal inscription. If you would like to order a flag, please fill out an order form and mail it to the address below or fax it to (937)225-2752.

Please indicate in the 'special instructions' section of the flag ordering form whether you would like your flag shipped to your address or if you would like to pick-up your flag at the Dayton office.
For flags with personal inscriptions please allow up to one (1) week for delivery.

Once your request and check are received, my staff wil place your order. Checks must be enclosed with your form or dropped off in my Dayton office.

If the flag is for a friend or local club, please make sure to include that information on the order form so the flag certificate will be filled out appropriately. With advance notice, it is possible to have your flag flown over the Capitol on a specific date. Be sure to indicate the desired flying date on the order form.
If you are requesting a flag be flown on a specific date, please allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery. Otherwise your flag should be ready to pick up in two business days. Please note that my office cannot guarantee the delivery of flags by specific dates, ceremonies, or occasions.
*Partisan or political statements will not be submitted to the Architect of the Capitol. Our office reserves the right not to submit to the Architect of the Capitol inappropriate statements on flag certificates.
