Washington, DC: Congressman Mike Turner released the following statement after security was enhanced at military bases across the country.
"I have been in touch with Colonel John Devillier, 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and have received a separate classified House Intelligence briefing regarding recent terror threats and enhanced security measures at military installations. I have full confidence in Wright-Patt leadership and we must be diligent in addressing today's threat environment. Today's recent events underscore the need for a comprehensive global strategy to combat increased terrorist threats."
