Press Release

DAYTON, OH— Today Congressman Mike Turner issued a statement on The Department of Health and Human Services announcement of a $1.8 million grant for Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton:

“In voting for coronavirus relief legislation, CRRSSAA, I proudly supported the funding that made this nearly $2 million grant possible for the Community Health Care Centers of Greater Dayton. In the last year, health centers in Ohio's 10th congressional district have received over $57 million in HRSA grants, which go a long way towards equipping frontline workers with the support they need, especially during the pandemic,” said Turner. “I will continue my work to secure resources for Dayton’s local health centers as they overcome increased costs and challenges due to COVID-19.”

From 2020 through 2021, Dayton Health Centers have received $57,192,796 in Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Grants, including Health Center Cluster Grants.

HRSA, and the grants it provides, received funding through The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA). Rep. Turner voted in favor of the CRRSAA, supporting the funding that make these grants possible.
