TURNER: Assad Attack 'Required Consequences'

Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces, issued the following statement regarding the U.S. response to a chemical weapons attack in Syria:

"The horrific attack by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad required consequences and was essential to deterring future atrocities. It is clear the Obama Administration's attempt to partner with Russia to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons cache failed."
