Congressman Turner released the following statement after Wright-Patterson Air Force Base announced Col. Bradley W. McDonald will become the new base commander following Col. John M. Devillier's departure in June.

"First, I would like to thank Col. John M. Devillier for his partnership and dedication to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base community. I look forward to working with Col. Bradley W. McDonald and congratulate him on this new phase in his already impressive career.

"In addition, I look forward to working with Col. John M. Devillier at the Pentagon as his new responsibilities will intersect with the House Armed Services Committee."
