Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) has signed a discharge petition to encourage the House of Representatives to vote for the PPP Extension Act. When House Majority Leadership refuses to advance a bill to the floor, a majority of House Members can sign a discharge petition to force the bill to the floor for a vote.

“Today I took another step to support and assist small businesses in our community during the coronavirus pandemic,” said Turner. “The initial round of Paycheck Protection Program loans was greatly beneficial, providing to date over $820 million in PPP loans across 7,300 small businesses in our community. It is imperative the House votes on an extension of the PPP program.”
