WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, and Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-12), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced the It's About Time Act, bipartisan legislation that changes the federal government's annual funding schedule to align with the calendar year. Currently, the federal government starts its fiscal year every October 1st. This legislation transitions the funding schedule to reflect the classic calendar year, thus moving the start of the government's fiscal year to January 1.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), along with Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01), introduced bipartisan legislation that would expand the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) introduced the companion legislation in the Senate. This legislation seeks to amend the Dayton Aviation Heritage Preservation Act of 1992 to adjust the boundary of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. The proposed expansion includes approximately one acre of land.
CLARK COUNTY, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that the 4-H section of the Library of Congress's Join In: Voluntary Associations in America exhibition has been corrected to reflect Clark County, Ohio's contributions to founding the network of youth agricultural programs. While on a tour of the Library of Congress, a staff member from Congressman Turner's office noticed that the Library's 4-H exhibit attributed the founding of 4-H to Clarke County, Iowa. Subsequently, Congressman Turner brought the mistake to the attention of Dr. Carla Hayden, the Librarian of Congress, who directed the Library to correct the misattribution.
MIAMISBURG, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that over $3 million in federal funds have been awarded to local firefighters in the Southwest Ohio area. The Miami Valley Fire District, which is in Turner's district, was allocated funds under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Fiscal Year 2022 Staffing For Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Program. Recipients are eligible to direct these funds toward increasing staffing and deployment capabilities to respond to emergencies.

MIAMISBURG, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) and Michelle Collins, Mayor of Miamisburg, held a press conference at the Mound Science and Energy Museum to announce the renaming of portions of the Mound Connector after former Miamisburg Mayor Richard C. Church Jr. In Fiscal Year 2023, Congressman Turner secured $1 million in federal funding for the Mound Connector Highway Project.
