Washington, DC- Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) and his colleagues are imploring the Biden Administration to unleash American energy production as an alternative to releasing 15 million barrels from the Strategic Oil Reserve, which President Biden announced last week. Their letter outlined several solutions to promote America's energy security.
In the letter members wrote:
Dayton, OH- Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that he is pursuing $2 million in federal funding in the House Labor, Health and Human Services, Education Appropriations bill for Dayton Foodbank. If approved by the full Congress, the funding will be used to construct an additional building that will include exam rooms and other resources for the food bank. The committee-passed appropriations bill awaits full consideration in the House when Congress returns in November.
Dayton, OH- Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced his appointment of former Governor of Ohio, Robert Taft, to the Afghanistan War Commission. Taft will serve alongside 15 other commissioners appointed by fellow senior members of Congress.

Washington, DC- Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) received the "Guardian of Small Business Award" from the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB). The award is NFIB's most prestigious legislative award and is earned by lawmakers who voted with small businesses on key issues 70% or more of the time during the 117th Congress.
This Congress, Turner has a perfect score, voting with small business 100% of the time, and has maintained that average over the last eight years.
Washington, DC- Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that over $850,000 in federal funds have been awarded to local fire departments in the community. The Cities of Trotwood, Vandalia, Brookeville and Dayton, all in Turner's district, were allocated funds under the Department of Homeland Security's FY21 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFG).

Dayton, OH- Today, following a tour of the Carillon Historic Park and the Wright Company Factory in the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park with Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14), Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) highlighted his federal efforts to preserve Dayton's history, specifically his pieces of legislation that designated the Wright Factory as a national park and officially established the Wright Brothers National Museum in Dayton. Turner also announced his intention to revitalize the Wright Company Factory through the federal appropriations process.
SPRINGFIELD, OH- After securing over $10 million in federal funding for the new National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE), today Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) participated in the groundbreaking ceremony at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport. NAAMCE would be home to research and development opportunities on unmanned drones and electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft programs.
