DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that over $14 million in federal funds were awarded to Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) to serve children from low-income families receiving childcare subsidies. MVCDC, which serves over 2,500 families across Congressman Turner's district, was allocated funds under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Fiscal Year 2024 Head Start Projects grant program. This funding will be spent over the next five years to support MVCDC's mission.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) released the following statement after President Biden's announcement that he will not seek re-election:

"While the Democratic Party wondered if Joe Biden could serve for another four years, I have publicly stated my concerns that he's not up to the job for the next four days.

"Our national security demands a full-time president.

"Today's announcement confirms what the American people would have done at the ballot box in November.

"President Biden's cabinet must take immediate action and determine if he is capable to govern for the remainder of this year."

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that over $400,000 in federal funds have been awarded to local fire departments in the Miami Valley. Beavercreek Township, the City of Dayton, and the City of Trotwood, all located in Congressman Turner's district, were allocated funds under the Department of Homeland Security's Fiscal Year 2023 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) Program. Recipients are eligible to direct these funds toward operations and safety, vehicle acquisition, and regional projects.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), head of the U.S. delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, delivered closing remarks after hosting leaders of the parliaments of NATO allies for the NATO Parliamentary Summit.
