$400 Million for Continued Military Support also included in Committee-Passed Bill

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Michael R. Turner (OH-10), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, filed an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) stating his objections to the week-long pause in military aid to Ukraine instituted by the U.S. Department of Defense without notifying the White House, U.S. Department of State or U.S. Congress.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), along with Congresswoman Ann Wagner (MO-02), Congressman Wesley Bell (MO-01), and Congressman Jake Auchincloss (MA-04) introduced the Upholding the Dayton Peace Agreement Through Sanctions Act.

This bipartisan piece of legislation would mandate sanctions on foreign persons who undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement or otherwise threaten the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

DAYTON, OHIO – This weekend, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) honored nine exceptional students from the Miami Valley who have received nominations to prestigious United States service academies.

Turner (OH-10) today pressed upon the urgency of modernizing the U.S. nuclear weapons and developing a comprehensive missile defense system to Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during a House Armed Services Committee budget hearing. Turner reiterated his concerns of Russia's efforts to place a nuclear anti-satellite weapon in space, which first became publicly known in 2024.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) met with the winner from the Tenth District's Congressional Art Competition for 2025. More than 250 students submitted their work for this year's competition.

This year's winner is Ravyn Strozier, a 12^th grade student from Stivers School for the Arts. Ravyn's winning piece, titled "As sweet as a honeybee" is a mixed media ballpoint pen and colored pencil self-portrait that depicts trypophobia, the fear of repetitive clustered holes or bumps through honeycomb.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that $1,812,000 in federal funds has been awarded to the James M. Cox Dayton International Airport (DAY) to refurbish lighting along Taxiway W and to rehabilitate parts of Taxiway W to minimize debris and to extend the useful life of this taxiway. Congressman Mike Turner also announced that the Greene County Regional Airport has been awarded $462,560 to reseal parts of the airport terminal and tiedown apron to extend the useful life of the facilities.
