DAYTON, OHIO – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and a senior member of the House Committee on Armed Services, was joined by the Dayton Development Coalition in making an announcement regarding recent and future job growth at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). Congressman Turner held a press conference at the National Museum of the Air Force to celebrate WPAFB reaching the milestone of 38,000 military, civilian, and contractor personnel inside the fence.

DAYTON, OHIO – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) and Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) introduced a symbolic resolution to honor the life and legacy of Lieutenant Colonel Charity Adams-Earley, an Ohioan who became the first Black officer in the U.S. Army's Women's Army Corps (WAC). This resolution directs the United States Postal Service to issue a commemorative stamp in honor of Lt. Col. Adams-Earley, who led the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion-the only all-Black WAC battalion deployed overseas during the Second World War.

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that more than $440,000 in federal funds has been awarded to local fire departments in the Miami Valley. The City of Dayton, the City of Riverside and the City of Brookville, all located in Turner's district, were allocated funds under the Department of Homeland Security's Fiscal Year 2023 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) Program.
