The legislation now needs the President's signature to become law.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) introduced the Protecting Against Paperless and Electronic Requirements (PAPER) Act. This legislation prohibits banks from forcing customers to use electronic bank statements instead of paper statements.

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that $480,000 in federal funds has been awarded to the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) to improve safety and help prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. The MVRPC, which is in Turner's district, was allocated funds under the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Fiscal Year 2023 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program.

"Recently, I had an opportunity to spend time with Henry Kissinger and hear his thoughts about U.S.-China relations, artificial intelligence, and nuclear weapons. His knowledge and perception of issues and policy were extraordinary.

"Dr. Kissinger was a remarkable man who shaped world history. As Secretary of State under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, Dr. Kissinger had a unique ability to navigate hot-button geopolitical issues and build meaningful relationships with international leaders.

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) held a press conference at the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton (BGCD) with Crystal Allen, CEO of the BGCD, and Dr. Karen Townsend, Chair of the BGCD's Board of Directors. The House Appropriations Committee's version of the FY24 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies funding legislation includes $1.4 million in congressional Community Project Funding for the BGCD's West Dayton Community Recreation & Space Sharing Project. Once that bill becomes law, the funds will be used by the BGCD to remodel its West Stewart Street facility, including necessary equipment upgrades.

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) held a press conference at the University of Dayton's Arcade Innovation Hub with Scott Koorndyk, President of the Entrepreneurs' Center, Dayton's City Manager, Shelley Dickstein, and Trevor Collier, Dean of the School of Business Administration at the University of Dayton. In Fiscal Year 2022, Congressman Turner secured $3 million in congressional Community Project Funding to help finish the south portion of the arcade complex. The funds specifically come from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) reintroduced the Brownfields Redevelopment Tax Incentive Reauthorization Act, alongside Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11). This bipartisan legislation restores the expired tax incentive, thus allowing developers to fully deduct the costs of environmental remediation of brownfields in the year the costs were incurred. Congressman Turner has championed this legislation since 2018.
