Congressman Mike Turner has successfully included language in the FY2011 National Defense Authorization Act which seeks improvements for international humanitarian demining initiatives. The amendment, offered by Rep. Turner, was approved by the full House Armed Services Committee last week. The full House of Representatives plans on taking up the NDAA in the next few days.

One provision calls for a report from the Department of Defense on a potential unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) testing range in Southwest Ohio. .
