DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that $4,492,904 in federal funds have been awarded to the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority to replace the roof and HVAC system at 600 Longworth Street in Dayton, Ohio. The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority, which serves communities within Montgomery County and parts of Greene County, was allocated funds under the Department of Transportation's Fiscal Year 2023 Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program.

This bipartisan legislation would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 by creating a pathway for federal student loan holders to refinance their loans while still remaining public borrowers.
