Washington, D.C.- Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that his bill, the "Susan Muffley Act of 2022", is scheduled for a vote in the House on Wednesday. This bill restores pensions of Delphi Salaried Retirees (DSR) that were terminated following General Motors' bankruptcy in 2009.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that several of his 2023 community project funding priorities, which he secured, were approved by the U.S. House 220 to 207.

"From $29 million for a new School Age Center at Wright-Patterson to millions of dollars in infrastructure improvements across the Miami Valley Region, the federal funds I secured will support community projects that foster greater economic development and increase the competitiveness of our region," said Turner. "As the legislative process continues, I will continue to work with my colleagues to secure federal funding for all of the Dayton area projects I submitted."

DAYTON, OH – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) demanded that the Biden Administration provide the Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) with all necessary information and proper documentation regarding the U.S. taxpayer-funded programs and operations in Afghanistan, both prior to and following the government's collapse.

DAYTON, OH – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that his bill, the Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment (MAT) Act, which allows physicians to prescribe buprenorphine without first obtaining a waiver, passed the House, 402 to 20, Wednesday, June 22.
 

Under current law, practitioners are required to obtain a waiver from the Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe buprenorphine as a treatment for opioid abuse. Turner introduced the bill in February 2021, following President Biden's reversal of the Trump-era decision to remove the waiver requirement.

DAYTON, OH – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) secured $29 million for a new School Age Child Care Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in the FY23 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed by the House Armed Services Committee 57-1. In addition to funding for the center, Turner increased President Biden's defense budget, secured funding for critical innovative technologies and improved opportunities for military families.
