Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH), and Congressman Gerald Connolly (D-VA) introduced the Military and Veteran Caregiver Student Loan Relief Act. Their bipartisan legislation would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to make VA-designated primary family caregivers eligible for the public service loan forgiveness (PSLF) program.

DAYTON, O.H.-Today, Congressman Mike Turner toured Gem City Market, a community-owned grocery store in West Dayton that is set to open on May 12th. During the tour of the 15,800-square-foot grocery and retail operation, Gem City Market Board President Amaha Sellassie highlighted the services the market will provide to the community, including healthy food and yoga classes. He also noted that they have already hired 12 employees, and plan to hire additional staff.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— In today's House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Hearing on World Wide Threats, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray on Antifa's organizational structure and resourcing, including sources of funding, training and logistics support. Recent reports indicate that members of Antifa traveled to Minnesota to participate in ongoing protests that have resulted in property damage to businesses and multiple injuries.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-Today Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) will introduce legislation that would require significant infrastructure bills and joint resolutions to provide at least 50% of funding to programs, initiatives, or projects that directly impact construction or maintenance of highways, roads, bridges, dams, passenger and freight railways, airports, waterways and ports, public schools, and their safety. Any legislation providing these funds in excess of $100 billion would have to comply with this rule if adopted.

WASHINGTON, DC-Today Congressman Mike Turner helped announce the start to a program that will provide monetary relief to families who lost loved ones due to COVID-19. FEMA's Funeral Assistance Program, first established under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 which Congressman Turner voted to support, will provide monetary assistance for related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.

Congressman Turner encouraged impacted Ohio families to apply, and offered his office as a resource:
