This week, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies approved a total of $69.8 million coming directly to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in FY 2021. This follows Turner's major win of a $182 million expansion project at Wright-Patt's National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), the largest expansion project in the history of the Base. The funding is included in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021, which passed the House Armed Services Committee last night and is headed to the House floor later this month.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) officials admitted Thursday on a House Armed Services Committee conference call that, despite conditions placed on Ligado in the FCC Order to mitigate the concerns of harmful interference to GPS receivers, 13 federal agencies and departments remain opposed the FCC's Ligado decision.
