WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), along with Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) and Congressman Don Davis (NC-01), introduced the Coordinating Care for Senior Veterans and Wounded Warriors Act, bipartisan legislation to improve health care coordination and management for veterans who qualify for services through Medicare and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

DAYTON, OHIO – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) announced that the Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $2,000,000 in federal funding to support planning efforts to reconfigure the US-35 corridor. This grant aims to revitalize Route US-35 through Dayton's urban core and West Dayton, creating a more connected, vibrant, and economically thriving community.

"I am deeply saddened to learn about the death of President Jimmy Carter. President Carter was a man of integrity who was guided by his faith. I join all Americans in saluting President Carter for his lifetime of service, first as a naval officer, then as a senator in the Georgia State Senate, then as Governor of Georgia, and, finally, as President of the United States. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Carter family."

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the "Outdoors for All Act," bipartisan legislation authored by Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) and Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán (CA-44), is headed to President Biden's desk for his signature into law.

The "Outdoors for All Act" permanently authorizes the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Program (ORLP), a grant program that provides direct funding to cities and localities to develop, restore and maintain their local parks and other outdoor recreation spaces.

Mike Turner (OH-10), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-25), Brendan Boyle (PA-2), and Max Miller (OH-7) announced that their bill, the Commission to Study the Potential Transfer of the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History to the Smithsonian Institution Act (H.R. 7764), passed the Senate last night and now heads to the President's desk. This commission is a critical step in transferring the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, a highly regarded museum dedicated to the history, culture, and contributions of Jewish Americans, to the Smithsonian Institution.
