DAYTON, OHIO – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), head of the U.S. delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, congratulated the Dayton Chamber of Commerce on the launch of the official website for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly's Spring Session in Dayton next year. The website will help facilitate communication and preparation for the Dayton community and those traveling to Dayton for the Assembly's Spring Session from May 22-26, 2025. It will be continually updated as event details, including security procedures, are finalized.

The full video will be shown to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegates in Montreal, Canada, at the annual session later this month.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) and Congressman Paul Tonko (NY-20) announced that they have sent inquiries to dozens of hospitals, insurance plans, pharmacies, pharmacists, and providers aimed at gathering information on their existing actions and plans to eliminate barriers for accessing medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD).

The letters are intended to gain insight into the successes and barriers that have arisen following the implementation of their law, the Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment (MAT) Act, which eliminates the waiver requirement to prescribe buprenorphine, thereby streamlining quality and timeliness of care.

"Tom Ariss was a pillar of Warren County and the Miami Valley. He was a leader defined by his integrity, accountability, and commitment to his community.

"Before becoming sheriff of Warren County from 1992 to 2008, Tom served in the U.S. military, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Springboro Police Department.

"I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Tom's family and loved ones during this difficult time."
