Congressman Turner released the following statement after President Obama spoke with world leaders on Monday stating he does not have a strategy to defeat ISIL:

"I am appalled by President Obama's lack of leadership and resolve in dealing with ISIL. While ISIL continues to move through the region, the President continues to discount this extremist organization as a major global threat. We must have a comprehensive strategy to defeat ISIL and support our allies in the region, rather than simply ignoring reality. It is time for the President to take decisive action to ensure the security of the United States and our allies."
