Congressman Mike Turner, Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces, today at a hearing held by the House Armed Services Committee questioned leaders of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps on the impact of sequestration on their operations. The Commandant of the Marine Corps warned that battalion numbers would diminish as well as their ability to conduct their mission, stating they would become a “go to war and come home when it’s over force.”
