Today top House Republican Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) was hosted by Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) to tour the tornado damage in the Miami Valley. McCarthy and Turner were briefed by Greene County and Beavercreek officials before touring commercial and residential damage throughout Beavercreek.

Today Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) reintroduced The Fostering Stable Housing Opportunities Act, a bill designed to increase access to housing for youth aging out of foster care without increasing federal spending.

"The Fostering Stable Housing Opportunities Act will help break the issue of federally created homelessness, in which youth are currently aging out of foster care and into homelessness," said Turner. "Roughly 20,000 youth across the country age out of foster care each year. This bill will create a pathway that kids who age out of the foster care system can use to transition successfully into independence."

This week, Congressmen Mike Turner (OH-10), John Garamendi (CA-3), and Paul Cook (CA-8) introduced the "Protecting NATO Skies Act of 2019," designed to limit the transfer of F-35 aircraft to the nation of Turkey. The bill is a companion bill to S.922, the Protecting NATO Skies Act of 2019, introduced by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK).
