The subcommittee oversees the nation's nuclear arsenal, the military's assets in outer space, U.S. Department of Defense's intelligence programs and missile defense systems.

Congressman Mike Turner of Dayton and Congressman Steve Austria of Beavercreek. who represent Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Congress, today sent a bipartisan delegation letter to the Defense Department expressing concern about the Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) program, currently headquartered in Beavercreek, could be downsized resulting in the loss of hundreds of SW Ohio jobs. .

. Last night I was interviewed on FoxNews about the extremely concerning developments surrounding North and South Korea. This situation shows us all why our national security must always be a top priority. With the current threats we face from Iran and North Korea and also from terrorist groups around the world, we must provide our military with the resources they need to accomplish their missions and protect our liberties.
