WASHINGTON - Today, the United Nations General Assembly voted to suspended Russia from the U.N. Human Rights Council over "gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights." Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) released the following statement in response:
"The global community cannot sit idly by while Vladimir Putin and his thugs continue to launch unprovoked attacks and brutally slaughter innocent Ukrainian citizens. Putin's war crimes do not align with the mission of a United Nations.

Turner joins Armed Services Committee Members pressing Biden to boost defense budget by 5% above inflation

Germany acts quickly following Turner's request to buy US F-35 fighter jets
