Dayton, OH - Today, Congressman Mike Turner, Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee, and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy toured the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and received a national security briefing at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).
"House Republican Leader McCarthy is no stranger to Wright-Patterson and I am glad to welcome him here again," said Congressman Turner. "Military readiness is crucial in protecting our nation against the malign attempts of our adversaries to undermine our national security. Leader McCarthy and I will continue to support our military men and women here at Wright-Patterson and advocate they receive the necessary resources and funding to be successful."
"As this community knows all too well, intelligence is key to advancing our national security mission, and each of you should be proud of the role you are playing in supporting America’s defense,” said Leader McCarthy. “You have an incredible advocate in House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Michael Turner who personally understands the uniqueness and importance of the work that happens at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.”
Background on Wright-Patterson:
