Congressman Turner, Chairman of the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee, hosted the first Ohio Defense Forum in Columbus, Ohio.

“I would like to thank the Dayton Development Coalition, the Association of Defense Communities, and The Ohio State University for their dedication to our defense installations. The Ohio Defense Forum gives community leaders the opportunity to learn more about the current defense environment and how the defense budget impacts our military installations. I look forward to what we can accomplish on the second day of this forum.”

The first day of the Defense Forum included panels on integrating the military and the community for a successful partnership, a discussion on the top issues facing Ohio’s military installations, and building statewide defense initiatives in Ohio. The two-day forum concludes at noon tomorrow. For more information please visit the Ohio Defense Forum website.
