Earlier this week, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development announced their distribution of CARES Act funding to the Ohio Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program to assist various local housing authorities. Greater Dayton Premier Management, Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority, and the Fayette Metropolitan Housing Authority are all to receive grants totaling $877,536 to help citizens receiving HCVs navigate the economic hardships resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic. The HCV funding is a result of Rep. Mike Turner’s (OH-10) support of the CARES Act.

“The housing authorities in Dayton are, now more than ever, important in ensuring safety and shelter for our community members,” said Turner. “I am proud to support legislation that helps citizens find and maintain sustainable housing.”
