We have a duty to ensure that these heroes are taken care of when they have completed their service. In that spirit, I have cosponsored a number of bills which provide employment incentives and protect benefits for our veterans and their families.

Around the globe our men and women in uniform serve our country bravely and honorably. By volunteering to serve in our military they sacrifice time with their families and often many of the comforts we take for granted here at home. This month I joined a majority of my colleagues in the House in funding the government through the end of this Fiscal Year (September 30th) and in passing a responsible budget resolution for next year.
