WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH 10) along with Congressman Greg Landsman (OH 01) introduced the Veterans Affairs Heritage Act of 2026, bi-partisan legislation to formally establish a Department of Veterans Affairs History Office and locate it in Dayton, Ohio. The office would include a VA history program and a national history center dedicated to preserving the records, artifacts, and stories of the Department of Veterans Affairs and its predecessor organizations.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), along with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24), Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11), and Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-8), introduced the Health Coverage Tax Credit Reauthorization Act of 2026, legislation to extend the Health Coverage Tax Credit through January 1, 2030. The legislation amends the Internal Revenue Code to extend the credit’s eligibility window and can apply to months beginning after December 31, 2021.

DAYTON, Ohio — The Downtown Dayton Security Working Group met Monday morning at CareSource Corporate Headquarters with Dayton Mayor Shenise Turner-Sloss to receive the City of Dayton’s response to the Working Group’s recommendations. Dayton, OH - U.S. Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) is returning from a CODEL to the Balkans including stops in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Serbia, and Kosovo. In Bosnia, Congressman Turner was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Sarajevo" for his efforts in fostering lasting transatlantic relations between the United States and BiH. Congressman Turner also joined High Representative Schmidt for the dedication of the Dayton Peace Square in Sarajevo, marking the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords and emphasizing the ongoing need for peace and stability in the region.
