Washington D.C. - U.S. Representative Mike Turner (OH-10) and U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (NH) introduce a bipartisan and bicameral resolution recognizing the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords, which ended the Bosnian War and brought peace to Bosnia and Herzegovina. They were joined by Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Peter Welch (D-VT), Adam Schiff (D-CA), Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), as well as Representatives Ann Wagner (R-MO), Brett Guthrie (R-KY) and Wesley Bell (D-MO).

Dayton, OH - U.S. Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) is returning from a CODEL to the Balkans including stops in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Serbia, and Kosovo. In Bosnia, Congressman Turner was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Sarajevo" for his efforts in fostering lasting transatlantic relations between the United States and BiH. Congressman Turner also joined High Representative Schmidt for the dedication of the Dayton Peace Square in Sarajevo, marking the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords and emphasizing the ongoing need for peace and stability in the region.

Washington, D.C. – Upon his return from a trip to Ukraine, U.S. Representative Michael Turner (OH-10) called upon House Speaker Johnson to bring H.R. 2548, the Sanctioning Russia Act of 2025, to the House floor for immediate consideration. Congressman Turner led a critical bipartisan Congressional Delegation to Ukraine, Poland, and Germany, where he received briefings and on the ground reports of the devastating impact of Russia's war on Ukraine and its broader implications for NATO and European security.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) joined Congressman Maxwell Frost (FL-10) in introducing the Transit Bus Affordability Act. This bipartisan legislation would require the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study the factors responsible for the high cost of procuring buses for public transit across the United States.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10) reintroduced the "Protecting Against Paperless and Electronic Requirement (PAPER) Act". This legislation prohibits financial institutions from forcing customers to use electronic bank statements instead of paper statements.

$400 Million for Continued Military Support also included in Committee-Passed Bill

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Michael R. Turner (OH-10), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, filed an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) stating his objections to the week-long pause in military aid to Ukraine instituted by the U.S. Department of Defense without notifying the White House, U.S. Department of State or U.S. Congress.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), along with Congresswoman Ann Wagner (MO-02), Congressman Wesley Bell (MO-01), and Congressman Jake Auchincloss (MA-04) introduced the Upholding the Dayton Peace Agreement Through Sanctions Act.

This bipartisan piece of legislation would mandate sanctions on foreign persons who undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement or otherwise threaten the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
